Who we are

Purple Patch CIC is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise aiming to provide person centred support, welfare services, information, advocacy and education to enable disadvantaged individuals to lead full, healthy and rewarding lives in their community and wider society.

Purple Patch CIC was established by qualified (SEN) tutors and experienced Inclusive Practitioners (BA, PGCE) who have amassed over three decades of employment experience of working for disadvantaged groups in a multitude of roles and settings. With a vastly knowledgeable and skilled management team, supported by ‘Culturally Competent’ staff, Purple Patch are able to offer a highly professional yet personal service.

Mission statement

Walking

We create an innovative and inclusive service provision to promote self-sufficiency and challenge the effects of dependency, poverty and inequalities in society. To foster a positive relationship between local disadvantaged people and their environment both urban and rural and to encourage their accessing of all that it has to offer to improve their economic, physical and emotional well-being. We are confident that a provision based on the Social Model of Disability and Scope’s recommended ‘PLATO’ model would create an inclusive service provision that would benefit all disadvantaged individuals.
